The Spazzavento is the red wine that best represents our company, and is our largest production of bottles per harvest at 12-15,000.

It is a blend of Sangiovese (no less than 70%) and Merlot, medium body, with alcohol content between 13 and 13.5 degrees.

The colour is a beautiful medium ruby red, with an intense aroma with notes of red berry fruit followed by floral aromas.

In the mouth it is very fresh, rightly tannic, balanced and long-lasting.

Fermented in steel vats at controlled temperature, with an average maceration of 15 days. After the racking and assembly of the 2 varieties, it rests and ages for two years in steel and cement vats and is then refined in the bottle for another 4 or 5 months.
