Fontemorsi is an expression of all the natural beauty that Tuscany has to offer.

The farmhouse is located on a hill overlooking the Cecina valley and its rolling hills, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, meadows, and in the distance, a beautiful view on the city of Volterra. In the immediate vicinity are the art cities of Siena, Pisa and San Gimignano and only a few miles from the crystal-clear sea of the Maremma, with its archipelago of islands. Fontemorsi a very special place where you can spend a relaxing holiday and discover the history and beauty of the territory.

The climate is very mild and gentle thanks to the influence of the sea. Always ventilated, even on the hottest summer days and cool in the evenings. We have restructured the farmhouse and created three apartments and fantastic swimming pool overlooking the valley.

All the amenities are modern (swimming pool treated with marine salt and heating by solar panels) yet retaining the architectural style of a Tuscan farmhouse. Attention has been paid to the independence of each apartment, all with 19th century furniture and the latest kitchen equipment. On the lawn, surrounding the house, is a large barbecue.

Holidays at Fontemorsi are an opportunity to tune to the environment - it is not uncommon in the early in the mornings, to see a family of deer in the vineyard above. The farmhouse is set in the countryside just 10 minutes walk from the ancient hilltop village of Montescudaio with its bars, restaurants, and shops where foreign newspapers can be found.
